Waterproof Digital Cameras for Summer

Summer is here and it is time to enjoy some nice holiday activities with your spouse and kids. What could be better than having all the cherished moments of summer holiday with the family captured using the best digital camera, right? Since most summer holiday activities involved water – from simply playing at the beach to diving – it is important that you have a waterproof digital camera with you.

The first and probably the best option of waterproof digital camera in the market would have to be the new Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS1. Released in 2009, the Lumix DMC-TS1 is still more than capable even compared to newer digital cameras. It is waterproof and shockproof so you wouldn’t have to worry about missing important moments while enjoying your summer holiday at all.

Casio Exilim EX-G1 is also designed to be waterproof and shockproof. From the exterior design, you can clearly see that Casio indeed designed this camera to be tough and capable in every way. The shooting and video recording capabilities may not be on par with the latest digital cameras, but you will certainly benefit from the camera’s toughness.

If a good all-round option is what you are looking for, you can opt for either Canon PowerShot D10 or the superbly inexpensive Fujifilm FinePix Z33WP. Both offers amazing picture taking and video recording capabilities – although the results quality are pretty standard – and tough exterior shell designed to be waterproof and shockproof. These options are great if you have limited budget but still want the best quality waterproof camera.
